May 4, 2007 – The Chairmen of the SCFC created Slavic Foundation, a not-for-profit organization aimed at promoting Slavic cultures in the District of Columbia and the United States, as well as other foreign countries, through organizing and holding festivals, seminars, round tables, conferences, conducting research and publishing activities, etc.

April 1, 2007 - Washington DC - The Slavic Cultural Festival Committee expresses its gratitude to everyone involved in organizing such a great event and partaking in it. It would not have been the same without each of you.

March 31, 2007 - Slavic Spring Festival was successfully conducted.

March 8, 2007 - The International Women's Day was celebrated.

March 2, 2007 - Participation of the 2004 winner of Eurovision from Ukraine - Ruslana was confirmed.

March 1, 2007 - Slavic Cultural Festival Committee Web-page was created.
